Cheating At Fishing Tournaments

May 13, 2011
This should have never up in the Fishing atmosphere. This just shows how people act when it comes to money. People that need to cheat to win a fishing tournament should have never left the couch. I guess banning people from fishing isn't working anymore. This is so sad it makes me sick to my stomach. If i find out that someone is cheating in tournaments i fish there will be words and said and maybe a quick right hook or a swift kick to the face.

Crank Bait....REPLY

May 12, 2011
The way I always figured how to fish crankbaits was to match what the fish where feeding on. Spring, crawfish. Summer and fall, adult baitfish deep and bream and crawfish shallow. Winter, small baitfish. Colors will vary depending on water color.

FROG TIME

April 27, 2011
Okay Anglers! It's time to get out the heavy equipment and the braid. Now this subject is tough to talk about because theres a thin line when it comes to picking which type of frog is the right one to use. Now when it comes to using the "HOLLOW BODY FROG" I like to use a 6'6" to 7' med-hvy to heavy rod and 65lbs braid for these frogs. When I throw a "TOAD" for example (Zoom Horny Toad) I like to use the same equipment set up for these also. When throwing the hollow body frog you must make sur...

FLIPPIN & PITCHIN

April 25, 2011
Todays topic is about "FLIPPIN & PITCHIN". I was sitting around the house thinking to myself about how to get the best "FLIP & PITCH" into the most productive spot. I have come to the conclusion that the only way to get that good is to PRACTICE, because we all know that practice makes perfect. Here are some tips that I use to help me practice accuracy down. Now we also know that there is no such thing as perfect but there is always close to perfect. I will setup an small round container and a...

Taken it slow

April 24, 2011
Today I was thinking about my lure presentations. And I have come to the conclusion that you always need to try new retrieve speeds when your lure is in the water not what your fishing. Say if your fishing a "Shakey Head" there are many different ways to fish this lure. You can drag it about a six inches and then shake the slack line, or you can just drag it. Say your fishing a "Crankbait" you can fish it with a normal speed of the reel, or you can speed it up, or you can reel it real fast an...
